GeneTree card must be purchased with the following four tests: DNA Profile (GTI81), DNA Banking Service (GTI84), DNA Y-Chromosome Test (GTIB1), or MtDNA (GTIB2).
Gene Tree's ID and Banking Services are conveniently
structured to allow for easy ordering and specimen collection.
DNA based methods for identification are the most accurate and versatile
available. These methods are so useful that positive identification can be
obtained from sample sources such as: biological specimens (e.g., blood and
saliva), hairs (with roots intact), and licked stamps.
Once the specimens for the ID and/or Banking are received by
GeneTree, the ID Card, called the FirstClue GeneCard, will be
available between 2 and 3 weeks. Here at GeneTree we have specialists available

The 14 CODIS-associated ID Systems that are used by GeneTree are
recognized by the FBI and other forensic laboratories around the world. DNA
profiles are maintained in a confidential database at GeneTree, and are
available if ever needed.
This method of ID provides greater than 99% positive ID
by incorporating several methods of identification such as a fingerprint,
picture and a DNA profile.
